Manage yourself in the media

Manage yourself in the media is a one-day intensive workshop (incl. a lecture) for scientists, who want to raise media awareness about their field of work. With a detailed look in the journalistic toolbox, cases of excellent science reporting and exercises in quotable language, the participants’ will gain ability to pitch stories to various media. This course also includes a writing session with the scope of sharpening the participants’ journalistic pen as well as giving constructive feedback on newswriting.

At the end of the day, you will have a teaser or a draft press release aimed at a target media – ready to send.


The teacher on the course is Michael Strangholt. He is an experienced journalist and communication consultant at the Danish Centre for Environment and Energy, Aarhus University.
